He told them that would be fine, but that he was doing a survey himself of everyone who called him, and would they mind if he put them on hold for a moment while he grabbed the questions. He put them on hold, then speakerphone, so that he could here them but they couldn't hear him. He then looked at his watch, and proceeded to listen to the guy on the other end chat to his colleagues whilst counting how long it would take the guy to hang up.
