On Monday President Barack Obama criticized the largest U.S. banks.

He has criticized these banks due for their efforts to stop legislation that would improve federal student loan programs.
While he was speaking at a community college in Troy, N.Y., he pointed out in particular banks by whom the bailout money has been received from the federal government, saying that they want to maintain the status quo on student loans due to the reason that they get an "unwarranted subsidy" from it.
