Pay your bills, twice a month
It is an effective practice to pay your bill twice a month, it will not only give you cost benefit but also provide you with more financial control on your payment schedules especially when you are to make a big number of payments pay every month.
Sign up for automatic bill payment
Automatic payment of bills helps ensure timely payments of your credit card bills and thus refrain you from late fee payments.
Make your payments on phone
Instead of sending a check to your credit card company, prefer making payments through phone, which is more quick and easy method. Even if your credit card company is charging you for the phone service, it is still more feasible for you to get enrolled for this service as the cost is much less than the cost you have to pay incase you are failed to credit your fees on time.
Negotiate, in case your company put late fees on you
If you are charged a credit card late fee for the first time, negotiate with your company and ask it to compensate you, since you usually pay your bills on time. You are more likely to get the waiver, if your past pattern of credit card payments is sound and on time.
Pay your Credit Card Bills in full and on time
Do not get into the habit of paying late every time. Pay off your balance every month and on time, make every possible move to avoid credit card late fees as it can put you into more financial slump in the long run. Living a debt-free life is something not difficult to achieve, all it needs is careful planning, patience and indeed, constant effort.

I pay my bills twice a month, sometimes even thrice if I have an extra and pay it over the phone. It’s very effective so far. I have no problems with paying credit card bills or worry about late payments or even blowing credit.
