When To Use Credit Card instead Of Debit card

A number of people have started using credit cards. As it is easy to carry and you get money very easily. But sometimes if you do not pay back the amount you can get in trouble. You can get into financial crisis as you may not have the amount of paying back the money you spent. In this case debit cards become easy. But at the same time there are different situations and sometimes it becomes easy to use credit card instead of  using a debit card.

Before going further it is very important that a person should be clear about a credit card and a debit card.



Credit card

A credit card is a  plastic card through which a person can borrow money from the bank. He takes loan from the bank at the present moment. He is spending banks money which he surely has to pay back.  In this situation a person willingly borrows money but later on finds difficult to pay back.

The more he delays the more amount he has to pay  which then puts him to financial trouble.

Debit card

Debit card, compared to a credit card is totally different. It is connected to your bank account. It is your personal card. When you use your debit card the amount which you already have in your bank account will received by you. The desired amount will come out from your account if you have money at the moment. If there is no mount then your transaction will be rejected. There is no loan included in your debit card.

Why to use credit card instead of debit card?

There are some situations when a person needs money urgently. He can only withdraw money from his bank account using his debit card only if he has money present in his bank account.

In such situations credit cards becomes useful. Credit cards can help you while shopping online. If you do not get the product which you wanted then it is not easy to get your money back if you use a debit card.

Similarly it also helps in traveling. While travel a person has no idea how much is he going to spend so in such cases its easy to carry a credit card and pay back the amount later.

It all depends from person to person and how you handle your credit card . If a credit card is used properly then a person can never get into financial crisis.
