It is very important that you review your lease

Reviewing the lease is the first important thing you can do in order to pay your rent and if you are unable to pay your rent. That is you have to make clear and confirm what the terms and conditions were regarding you late payment of the rent. Make clear that when can you pay your rent and how many days can it take for you to over come the financial situation of your so that you are able to pay your rent. Check the late fesses too as the owner of the house may ask you for anything.  Moreover keep in in mind that the owner of the house or the landlord has no right to pay you for any extra fees until unless it is mentioned in the lease.

Discuss your problem with the landlord

Discuss this situation with your landlord and tell him how much time will it take for you to overcome this and when an you pay the rent. Tell him everything clearly so that he can decide everything properly.

Paying half of the rent

Tell your landlord if your are able to pay half of the rent from the actual rent you pay him. This will help him and you and you can easily pay him the rest of the rent when you are financially stable. This way your landlord will be satisfied that at least you are paying half of the rent.
These few steps can definitely help you in a situation where you are unable to pay the rent.
